Heh, that's funny that I messed that up. I actually started to put Martha down and figured no one would really know that, so I took it out. Then, probably because I think Martha does appear on one of the covers that looks like a Tank Girl cover, I was thinking he did Tank Girl too.

Thanks for calling me out on it. :)

Uh-oh. You know how we had that discussion of what type of Geeks we and our friends are? To recap a bit, I double majored in Movie Geek and Game Geek. Mookie is the Book Geek. Joe is the Internet Geek (or used to be until he forgot how to Comment on Blogs) and you are the Comic Geek/Computer Geek. Well, I think you may have to relinquish that crown.

Tank Girl is not a Frank Miller creation nor did he toil on it. It is the product of English comic writer Alan Martin. Maybe you were thinking of Martha Washington Goes to War - although I don't recall any Commando Kangaroos in that piece.

Anyway, I'll give you a Mulligan on this one.

I'll probably appreciate this flick the second time I see it. That seems to happen a lot. Once I complete a viewing without the burden of all that hype and great expectations weighing me down, I tend to enjoy the film quite a bit more.

I agree that Snyder is a major talent. I know you are not a horror guy but you really should check out his Dawn of the Dead remake - especially the first 20 minutes. A great opening to a damn good flick and it is the first thing that made me realize this was a guy to watch.

I'm glad he's watching the Watchmen.

BTW - I'm with you on The Hulk. I'm a fan of it.
