I suggest no more comics until you get through those 2 years worth! I understand you'll miss out on the full series, but I can't imagine you will ever get to the end of a series at the rate you're going! Hee hee.

My resolution was to go to the gym. What else is new?!

@Joe - If you don't want High School chumps pinging you, don't associate your High School with you on your profile. That will eliminate most. And if someone does slip through and find you, you have to Accept their Friend invitation before they can see your stuff, so just decline it.

yeah, I'm not looking to Mookie as my example ;)

(honestly, I've been toying with the idea of Facebook - but I don't want anyone earlier than college pinging me)

@Joe: I hear you, but I (don't) read a lot more titles than you each month, so not as easy to catch up. I bet you aren't buying many more than a handful, which is probably a good thing! Also, and it isn't fair to compare since you have kids and I do not, I play a lot more games than you do, so that's where the majority of my comic reading time is spent. I just need to rearrange it a bit.

As for Facebook, Mookie is your last hope.

@Ed: Water = good. I drink 2 liters a day at work. I do okay with not snacking at night either, but it is unlikely I would make it into any gym one time a week never mind three. Good luck! As for the anger one, I think I should work on that one too but modified for road rage. That's pretty much the only time I get peed off enough to scare people... usually your sister.

and - Oh Crud! - you were my last bastion of hope on not joining Facebook - now I'll probably have to when Jenn says "Hey, even Sean is on Facebook"

Two Years behind in Comics??? Geez... even I'm more caught up than that... granted I collect less (but I did restart and replenish all the missing X-Men and Uncanny's I was missing since I stopped (at least a couple years back - AND read them all) ;-)

Guess what my two are - one is kinda' nebulous (in other words - hard to quantify concretely) and the other will show results if I stick to it.

1. Be More Patient - Or better yet, less quick tempered. I find I get a little too angry a little too easy and I've got to cool it.

2. Lost weight. I know - that's old hat. Everyone says it. Nobody does it. Well I need to. So I am hitting the gym 3 days a week (up from my current 1) and only doing cardio (no weight lifting) until I see some pounds disappear then I'll ladle the weight training back in. So - an hour of straight out cardio (eliptical training) 3 days a week in addition to all the chasing of kids, yard work, etc. Then - no food after 8 p.m. meaning no snacking. And finally, 80 ounces of water a day. All of these are easy changes that I think are easy to implement and if I stick with them, should have an impact. I don't need to lose a ton. I really think 10 pounds or so will make me feel tons better.

I like yours and think they are all attainable - well, maybe not the comics. TWO YEARS??? Yikes!!! Don't stand too close to that stack. If that falls, you are instant fodder for "News of the Weird".
