@Noelle: Yeah, but I agreed with you first and threw her out there as a fallback. ;)

Looks like we all agree about that previous 30 Rock. This one was much better though. You should check it out.

I'll have to catch the latest episode of 30 Rock. I wasn't impressed with the one from the week before either. In fact, I don't even think I finished watching it.

@ Sean: You called FNL...Tammy to the rescue. I thought it might end up being Landry. I'm not so sure I like where it's headed though. I know he'll go running back to Tyra. That episode was clearly setting the stage for that to happen.

Didn't see SNL but the overacting is definitely Morgan's shtick and I love it.

The Office - Definitely lower on the laugh quotient this week. Worth it for Darryl's "Start Over". Much like Tracy Morgan, almost anything Darryl says cracks me up. It must be the delivery.

30 Rock - Defnitely a recovery from the week before. And Chris Parnell's Dr. Spaceman is on the same plane as Morgan and Darryl.

FNL - I hate commenting on these since I know the answers to all the questions you posit. Of course, in 4 more episodes, you'll be in the same position I am.

I feel like the overacting is his shtick, but I agree with you on reading cards/prompter. He wasn't even trying to not be obvious about it.

I watched SNL - haven't watched one in a long time - and I have to say, I wasn't impressed in the slightest. Tracy Morgan may be good on 30 Rock - but every skit he was reading blatently reading off the prompter, and 'over-acting' may not be the correct term, but it's the closest I can come up with. (I know, alot of the hosts read from the teleprompter, but alot don't)

Okay, I watched SNL and it is just okay. I did miss the first half hour and came in the middle of a scared straight skit. Considering everyone in it was trying, and failing, not to crack up says to me it might have been the best one.
