Telefizzled w.11

Again with the thoughts of abandoning this series, but I am reenergized a little tiny bit with the recent commercials for Lost and Scrubs, so something to look forward to, yeah? That said, and because it has been a while, I am going to be quick with this week’s because I don’t entirely remember everything about the shows I watched last week.

Chuck: Found this entertaining as usual and the guest appearance by Carl Lumbly (Dixon on Alias) as Casey’s sensei-gone-wild… err, rogue, was cool. Looked like he was having fun with the part and he’s the second Alias alum to make an appearance here; Kevin Weisman (Marshall) as a former eastern bloc gymnast spy being the other. Awesome’s parents finally make an appearance and despite both being a hundred years old, Bruce Boxleitner and Morgan Fairchild still look good with no help at all (I’m sure).

Big Bang: Um… drawing a blank on this one. Oh… repeat!

HIMYM: Ditto

Eli Stone: Like it matters, but we find out the acupuncturist dude made a copy of Eli’s dad’s diary before Eli burned it. Eli has visions as Nate as a 12 year old on his birthday. Nate ends up with lots of money after they bust his hospital. I watched it even though it is cancelled. Watched last night too, but really, its all just to see Julie Gonzalo, although last night added the former future Mrs. Tom Brady. I still don’t understand choosing horseface over her, but whatevs.

The Office: This episode was one of the better ones this year. I liked the tug-of-war for Michael’s favor in choosing how to spend the surplus, but about the only funny thing with The Triangle was Cousin Moes (sp?) bouncing what might have been a pumpkin off Andy’s head. Underhanded marriage of Dwight to Angela, not so much, but clever in practice I guess. Jim v. Pam was good. I liked the pseudo threats.

30 Rock: I want to say Liz Lemon’s high school reunion where she finds out she wasn’t flying under the radar; she was hated. Apparently every under-her-breath snarky comment was heard by all and she was considered a bully, no matter how gawd awful she looked. A decent episode without guest stars!

The Hills: Let me just say this, if anyone believes the show isn’t scripted, you have to be kidding me right now. Now, I might be giving her a little too much credit, but I don’t believe that Audrina is dumb enough to believe LC ever hooked up with Justin Bobby. Oh… and love Heidi in a cube. Love it. Did you even get down this far to read this stuff?

Lastly, Smallville is in repeats until January, so none of that this week either.
