Well, I took the feedback you provided to heart and made some adjustments to the blog design. I really like the way this came out, so I hope you do as well.
I more or less eliminated the extra colors and went with the blue and the green. I am going to find it hard to resist changing the green to orange at some point, but I like how the green evokes a Spring feeling, so it will stay for the season. I also changed up the layout by moving that middle column, which was blue, to the right side so that the main content is now in the middle. If you want to see more details, you can check out the Changelog.
Now that this has me feeling okay about the overall look-and-feel, I’ll be going to work adding the other features I have in mind. I’ll also be spending less time coding and more time writing content. Maybe my goal with the previous look was to distract you so much, that you wouldn’t notice how bad the content was. I mean, how many posts can you have about routers?!

Sam and Max
They’re back! Steve Purcell is once again drawing a Sam & Max comic, but now it is distributed on the web and interactive… sort of. Hold your cursor over each panel for the wonderful words. Started off on a bi-weekly schedule, but now looks monthly.
The comic is sponsored by the company making a new game featuring the infamous dog and rabbit duo. Don’t be too distracted by the large Bone ads.

I H8 Routers
As you may remember from last time, I had to download some new firmware for my router so that the Xbox 360 and Xbox Live (XBL) would play nice with it. I sort of made the leap from that to having had to buy a new router to make it do right. Here’s what went down.
So, I hit up the support page on the D-Link site and fill in for the DI-784. I get back a page with a bunch of crap that isn’t very relevant to my model, but since it is just confusing enough, I click on a link that seems to indicate what I want is there. What I got was a nice fat 500 Server Error for some Taiwanese domain. Excellent!

Best Job in America
I got an e-mail from a team member today with a link to the Best Jobs in America. He wrote: “Feel good about yourself, you have the best job in America!” Agree on the flexibility of hours (you understand if you know me), but not on the stress, creativity or flex environment.
I wonder what company has all that for this job?

That’s in the two games they have each started. Oh, and Arroyo is 2-0, has K’d 11 and a 1.98 ERA too.
That is the second HR Pena has allowed to bounce off his person/glove in Fenway’s RF. Remember his visit as a Red last year?
Arroyo has more bombs than Manny and Pena combined, but we’ll be calling Pena by the name *Little* Papi soon.

Assholes in the Outfield
Apologies for the colorful title, but in this particular instance it is warranted. I went to my first Sox game of the year yesterday to see them shutout by the Seattle Mariners. While the game result wasn’t in our favor, the game was a good one and it was an amazing day at Fenway.
Wakefield settled down to pitch a complete game, but the Sox lineup squandered a lot of opportunities to score. As for the weather, it was more like a June day at the park than a mid-April day. Usually at this time of year, day or night game, there’s a pretty good chill to the air, but there I was wearing shorts and my Manny jersey in the mostly sun-drenched bleachers and worried because I didn’t put sunblock on my arms.
