Ill communication

I just listened to Ill Communication on my way home from work tonight. I left at 9.00p. I realized that it would be a great title for a blog post, so…

I was at work for the second night in a row until 9p, so that’s ill. I have gone just over a month without posting, so that’s ill. If I went a calendar month without a post, that would be ill… therefore, here’s your fluff piece to put a stop to that.

Seriously though, I intimated in the last real post that I’d fill in blanks later, so I guess this is it. I think that blogging during the summer can be a bit tough when you don’t have some regular topic to shout about. I definitely have never had that, so it is here and there. Well, weekends are straight out because the last thing I want is to be in front of a keyboard on a weekend. Weeknights have also been straight out because I have been getting home late most nights and since those are due to work, I have had enough of the keyboard for a day. Three chins me

I put up some new photos tonight. One, which you can see above (at least at the time of this posting) is of me and my three chins. Yup, I’m now fat. Heck, this post needs a permanent link there…

The new photos were taken while down in Hyannisport and Nantucket a few weeks ago. I was visiting with family and the majority of the photos were of my younger cousins, which are marked family private on flickr. Have to keep these safe from the evil people trolling the interwebs.

There are some of Nantucket, but they are just newer, rinse-and-repeat of other shots I have taken in the past. Others are of the beautiful flowers and bushes around the Hyannisport cottage, which was more like a mansion, right down the street from the Shrivers’ and the Governator. I’m not even kidding.

Blog Days of Summer

I can tell by the way the past two weeks have gone that it is going to be tough to post on a regular basis. Actually, maybe I just need to redefine what a regular basis is going to be for the Summer.

Yeah, that’s what needs to happen, so based on how it has gone since it *officially* turned Summer, we’ll go with the one post a week schedule. I think it’s a thing going around, you know? Ed and Jason seem to have it too and those Scoobs have it year ’round. Of course, there could be Asides added at any time in between, but not much has really caught my eye as of late, although I did just post one about being Pearl Jammed.
